I’m going to share with you one of my all time favorite beauty tips – zubaida apa! What is zubaida apa you might ask? This is a very common Indonesian cooking that is commonly done at families gatherings. This type of cooking is mostly eaten during meals when there’s no other activities going on in the house, or when everybody is in a relaxed mood. It’s also done for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings and holidays, and for just fun reasons.

To make this type of food, you just need to marinate five pieces of chicken for about twenty minutes, or more depending on how hungry you are and how much you want to grill. After you do that, you just need to boil a pot of water for about two minutes so that it’s boiling hot, then add two or three lemons (depending on how many people you are cooking for), olive oil, garlic, cumin powder, turmeric, and salt to taste. Mix everything up, let it mixture boil for about five minutes, and then turn off the flame. Rinse the mixture off when it finishes boiling.

For the sauce, you need to bring a pot of water to a boil so that it can dissolve all the spices and ingredients properly. Once it’s done, pour it over your uncooked rice. You can eat the dish by itself or as a delicious meal served on its own with dessert.
